A close up flower shot. Flower courtesy of my mom, an avid gardener. Shot using the Sigma e mount 30mm f2.8. I rather like the details and colours from this lens compared to the kit lens (18-55mm).
We went to the Big Apple doughnut outlet at One Utama recently. I had seen lots of people queuing up at its Pavilion branch but the outlet at 1U was pretty small and sparsely furnished. There were many kinds of Big Apple doughnuts: some glazed with sugar, chocolate, nuts etc. It's soooooooo sweet! Maybe my daughter likes it?
Fallen , a photo by lcw:) on Flickr. Nice close up lens but without macro. I took this from about 6 inches. As the lens is without optical stabilisation, have to be more careful about camera shake and blur. I minimized this by keeping the speed faster than 1/100s. This was one of the more budget level prime lens available for Sony e-mount cameras. I bought a pair from Sigma both 30mm f2.8 and 19mm f2.8. I like the 30mm as it was nearer to the depth of view of our eyes however the 19mm was good for landscapes.
Because He lives God sent His son, they called Him Jesus He came to love, heal and forgive He lived and died to buy my pardon An empty grave is there to prove my savior lives (Chorus) Because He lives, I can face tomorrow Because He lives, all fear is gone Because I know He holds the future And life is worth the living, just because He lives How sweet to hold a newborn baby And feel the pride and joy He gives But greater still the calm assurance This child can face uncertain day, because He lives (Chorus) And then one day, I'll cross the river I'll fight life's final war with pain And then, as death gives way to victory I'll see the lights of glory and I'll know He reigns (Chorus 2x) For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
